Job Summary

As an IT Systems Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in establishing and maintaining the technological foundation for the German Armed Forces' AI-DevOps landscape. Your daily responsibilities include ensuring the stable, secure, and efficient operation of high-density AI infrastructure, managing server and network components, and serving as a technical liaison for Data Science and development teams. You will be actively involved in incident, change, and release management, focusing on identifying system vulnerabilities and driving automation to enhance platform robustness. This position is particularly attractive as it offers the chance to work on one of Germany's largest and most complex IT infrastructures, contributing directly to national security. Required Skills

Education

Completed IT vocational training or a University degree in Information Technology.

Experience

  • Approximately 3 years of professional experience in operating server, network, and data center infrastructure
  • Professional experience with BIOS, firmware, and out-of-band management
  • Proven experience in hardware commissioning and technical fault diagnosis
  • Experience working within Incident, Maintenance, and Change management frameworks
  • Preferred experience with NVIDIA hardware, GPU servers, or high-density computing environments
