Job Summary

This role involves technical case management within the Civil Engineering Office, focusing on the financing and planning approval processes for light rail and general engineering structures in Dortmund. The specialist will be responsible for the scientific processing and coordination of conceptual local transport planning, needs assessment, and financing plans, culminating in applications for funding from various governmental bodies (VRR AöR, State, and Federal). A core part of the job includes coordinating and organizing planning approval and permitting procedures with regional governments. Success in this position requires deep knowledge of grant management for infrastructure projects, formal administrative procedures for obtaining building rights, and strong negotiation skills. Required Skills

Education

Completed scientific university degree (Master's or University Diploma) in Civil Engineering or a comparable field. Completion of the legal clerkship (Referendariat) with the 2nd State Examination is desirable due to the nature of public law procedures.
