Job Summary

This role involves taking overall responsibility for the stable and secure operation of the IT landscape within a leading European textile manufacturer. The Head of IT will provide technical and organizational leadership for the internal IT team, coordinate external service providers, and actively develop junior IT talent through structured coaching and knowledge transfer. A major focus includes managing the ongoing ERP implementation, subsequent rollouts, and user support, while ensuring efficient IT Service Management (Incident, Change, and Problem Management). The ideal candidate will possess a degree in (Business) Informatics or equivalent experience, strong knowledge of IT infrastructure, virtualization technologies (VMware/Hyper-V), and Microsoft 365, coupled with excellent German language skills. This is a crucial leadership position requiring a hands-on, pragmatic approach to driving IT strategy, security, and digital transformation in a future-oriented, mid-sized family company.
