Job Summary
This role is central to securing and modernizing the IT infrastructure of the German Federal Armed Forces (Bundeswehr) as part of the Competence Center IT-Security (CCITS). The Lead DevSecOps Engineer will operate within an agile team, focusing on the integration and secure operation of IT-critical software projects. Day-to-day responsibilities include integrating software artifacts developed by various teams, configuring complex services like Kafka and OpenSearch, and driving the automation of development, testing, and operational processes. Success in this position requires a minimum of six years of relevant experience, a strong technical foundation in container orchestration (Docker/Kubernetes), cloud-native concepts (Service Mesh, API Gateways, Observability), and robust Linux knowledge. This is an opportunity to leverage advanced DevSecOps expertise to contribute directly to Germany's security posture through challenging digitalization projects.
