Job Summary

This role is for an experienced Scrum Master dedicated to supporting the digital transformation and IT security projects of the German Armed Forces (Bundeswehr). The successful candidate will be responsible for coaching, organizing, and facilitating Scrum Events for multiple small teams within the DevSecOps Engineering department, which focuses on IT-security critical software projects. Key responsibilities include fostering continuous improvement within teams, encouraging experimentation, ensuring early feedback loops, and actively removing impediments to successful delivery. Candidates must possess a relevant university degree or equivalent, significant professional experience in agile environments and software development, and formal Scrum certification. Fluency in German and good English skills are required to promote effective cross-departmental collaboration and contribute to Germany's security through cutting-edge IT services.

Relevant university degree or comparable qualification; Scrum certification(s)

Experience

Minimum 2 years of relevant professional experience (or minimum 5 years after vocational training)
Experience in introducing agile methods within complex IT projects
Experience in the area of software development
High methodological competence in the agile environment

Additional

Basic willingness to travel (Reisebereitschaft); Position based in Bonn/Meckenheim, or alternatively at other BWI locations nationwide.
