The position requires a Master's degree in a technical or quantitative field (e.g., Electrical Engineering, Physics), deep knowledge of energy economics, expertise in market modeling and simulation programs, and strong programming skills, particularly in Python. The role is highly international, requiring collaboration across European Transmission System Operators (TSOs) and negotiation-level fluency in both German and English, making it an attractive position for those looking to influence the future of the European power grid.

Required Skills

Education

Master's or Diploma degree in Electrical Engineering/Energy Technology, Industrial Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, or a comparable technical field.

Experience

  • Professional experience in analyzing complex causal relationships and their appropriate presentation and communication
  • Strong professional knowledge in market modeling and application of market simulation programs
  • Professional experience utilizing programming skills, especially Python
  • Professional experience in data handling
