Job Summary

This leadership role involves taking responsibility for the Civil Engineering department focusing on large-scale facilities, actively contributing to the success of the energy transition. The Head of Civil Engineering will provide autonomous leadership, including disciplinary and strategic steering, for an existing team of five employees. Daily activities center on acting as a key networker, aligning team activities with project requirements, and coordinating closely with technical planning, asset management, and procurement teams. The role demands ensuring that projects, from initial planning through implementation, are supported with necessary technical expertise, and developing site-specific concepts compliant with technical principles. Success requires a Master’s or Diploma in Engineering or Natural Sciences, coupled with at least five years of relevant professional experience in construction project management, supervision, and regulatory compliance. Strong German (Fluent) and good English (Intermediate) skills are mandatory.
