Job Summary

This permanent position seeks an Environmental Engineer to ensure strict adherence to nature conservation standards within critical infrastructure projects, specifically focusing on grid expansion. Day-to-day duties involve developing and implementing nature conservation protocols, providing expert technical consulting on environmental legal requirements, and guaranteeing compliance with all relevant nature conservation laws and quality standards. A key responsibility is acting as the company's representative when interacting with regulatory authorities, governmental committees, and external stakeholders. The successful candidate must hold a degree in Environmental Sciences, Spatial/Landscape Planning, or a comparable field, coupled with practical experience in complex approval and permitting procedures. Essential requirements include very strong communication skills and fluency in both German and English, as well as assertiveness and flexibility for occasional travel. This role offers the chance to contribute significantly to sustainable infrastructure development with flexible minimum working hours (22 hours per week).
