Job Summary

As a Permitting Manager, you will be responsible for the preparation, coordination, and management of public law approval processes for substation projects. Your day-to-day activities involve steering work packages related to the Federal Immission Control Act (BImSchG) and formal planning approval procedures. You will act as a central interface, managing internal and external service providers while ensuring high-quality documentation and compliance with technical standards. A significant part of the role involves engaging with authorities, municipalities, and citizens to facilitate smooth project execution. Required Skills

Education

University degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, Spatial Planning, or Civil Engineering

Experience

  • Professional experience in managing approval processes for large-scale infrastructure projects
  • Experience in steering interdisciplinary teams and external service providers
  • Proven track record in dealing with public authorities and regulatory bodies
  • Experience in energy infrastructure, specifically substations, is highly preferred
