As an Environmental Permitting Engineer, you will be responsible for the preparation, coordination, and management of public law approval procedures for substation projects. Your daily tasks include creating work packages for Federal Immission Control Act (BImSchG) and plan approval procedures, managing internal and external service providers, and acting as a key interface between various technical disciplines. You will play a critical role in quality assurance for permit documentation and lead discussions with authorities, municipalities, and stakeholders. Required Skills

Education

University degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, Spatial Planning, or Civil Engineering.

Experience

  • Professional experience in managing approval procedures for large-scale infrastructure projects
  • Specific experience in substation or energy infrastructure projects is highly preferred
  • Proven experience in project management and leading interdisciplinary teams
  • Demonstrated experience in dealing with public authorities and regulatory bodies
