Job Summary

This role is central to the expansion of energy infrastructure for a renowned transmission system operator. You will be responsible for the technical planning of substations, cable transition systems, and electrical installations, specifically focusing on the preparation of permit documents for regional planning and plan approval procedures. Day-to-day tasks include managing technical work packages in basic and detail design, overseeing external service providers, and acting as a technical point of contact for regional stakeholders. You will also provide technical specifications for site selection and land acquisition. This position is unique as it combines technical engineering design with regulatory compliance and stakeholder management, offering a 37-hour work week and a significant role in the energy transition.
