Job Summary

This is a strategic leadership role overseeing the Building Management Department for the Trier-Saarburg district administration, which manages extensive real estate assets, primarily schools and administrative buildings (approx. 1 million m³ enclosed space). The Head will be responsible for the strategic, conceptual, organizational, and personnel management of a team of over 40 employees. Key duties include developing and implementing strategies for the use, management, renovation, and development of county-owned properties, negotiating real estate contracts, and ensuring legal compliance regarding operator duties and liability. The ideal candidate must possess a university degree in Administration, Real Estate Management, or Law, coupled with professional leadership experience, preferably within public administration. This full-time, permanent position offers a high degree of responsibility and creative freedom within a secure public sector environment.

Experience
