Job Summary

This role involves establishing, developing, and maintaining a robust Business Continuity Management System (BCMS) in accordance with BSI Standard 200-4 for the Trier-Saarburg District Administration. The officer will be responsible for creating and updating emergency preparedness concepts, conducting Risk and Business Impact Analyses (BIA), and developing comprehensive business resumption and recovery plans across all organizational units. Key responsibilities also include planning and coordinating emergency tests, monitoring BCMS compliance, and regularly reporting to the authority management. The ideal candidate holds a degree in Information Security or Business Informatics, or an equivalent qualification, and possesses or is willing to obtain BCM Practitioner certification (BSI). This is a full-time, permanent position offering flexible hours and a family-friendly environment within a growing administrative district near Luxembourg.

Required Skills

Education

Bachelor's or Master of Science degree in Information Security or Business Informatics, or comparable qualification. BCM Practitioner certification (BSI) required (or willingness to acquire it).

Experience

  • Professional experience in Information Security Management and IT Emergency Management (or willingness to train)
  • Professional experience with security and emergency management processes based on BSI IT-Grundschutz (or willingness to train)
  • Several years of professional experience is advantageous
