Job Summary

This role seeks a visionary Hardware Engineer to drive innovation within the fossil fuel extraction sector. The successful candidate will be responsible for the full lifecycle of analog and digital hardware development, from initial design to production support and quality assurance. Key daily tasks include conducting root cause analysis on existing systems, performing rigorous measurement and testing of electronic circuits, and developing complex test environments. You will actively support PCBA manufacturing processes, focusing on cost reduction and quality improvement, and manage relationships with external component suppliers. Required qualifications include a degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field, multi-year experience in hardware development, and specific knowledge of automation technology and control electronics. This position offers the opportunity to shape the future of technology in a challenging domain, requiring strong analytical skills and a willingness to travel occasionally to extraction sites.

Required Skills

Education

Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Mechanical Engineering, or a comparable technical field

Experience

  • Multi-year experience in hardware development
  • Experience in energy or conveying technology (ideal)
  • Experience with CAD programs and schematic creation
