Job Summary

This position calls for an experienced Electrical Engineer to manage and execute all phases (1-9) of technical system construction projects (HOAI) within the university's Building, Safety, and Environmental Management department. The successful candidate will independently plan, implement, and expand data and electrical systems and networks for both new construction and maintenance projects. A key responsibility involves contributing to the implementation and maintenance of the energy management system. Candidates must possess a strong background in electrical engineering, excellent knowledge of German construction contract law (VOB/HOAI), and practical experience with building control systems (CAFM/GLS). This is a full-time, permanent role offering the opportunity to work in a dynamic university environment, contributing directly to essential infrastructure projects.

Required Skills

Education

Completed university degree (Diplom/FH-Diplom/Bachelor) in Electrical Engineering or a comparable field of study

Experience

  • 3 years of professional experience in electrical engineering (required for EG 13 TV-L classification)
  • Experience with planning, execution, and operation of electrical systems (HOAI Phases 1-9)
  • Experience and knowledge of VOB (German Construction Contract Procedures) and HOAI (Fee Structure for Architects and Engineers)
  • Practical experience in network switching or relevant training/certification
  • Experience in defect and change order management
