Job Summary

The University of Saarland is seeking two dedicated DevOps Engineers focusing on Linux, Web, and Database Administration to join the Higher Education IT Center (HIZ). This role involves strategically advancing both On-Premises and Cloud operating environments, ensuring their long-term viability. Day-to-day tasks include operating and administering Linux servers, managing virtualization and containers, performing system optimization, and enhancing security. A key part of the job is the continuous development of automation and DevOps processes, including building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
