As the Strategic Program Manager for the Saarland Informatics Campus, you will lead the development and implementation of an elite Honors Program designed to attract top-tier international talent in Computer Science. This pivotal role involves creating a world-class research-oriented environment for high-achieving students, including winners of international mathematics and informatics olympiads. You will be responsible for designing international recruiting strategies, establishing mentoring and community formats, and building robust networks between the university, research institutes like Max Planck and DFKI, and industrial partners. This position offers a unique opportunity to shape the future of elite technical education in Europe within a highly prestigious academic setting. You will manage the program's overall coordination, from admissions and quality control to budgeting and alumni relations, ensuring the program maintains standards comparable to global elite institutions.

Education

Master's degree or University Diploma (Wissenschaftliches Hochschulstudium)

Experience

  • Professional experience in project, program, or science management, preferably within a university or research environment
  • Experience in building and maintaining professional networks with science, industry, or public institutions
  • Proven track record in organizational, analytical, and conceptual tasks
  • Experience with international higher education systems and talent promotion
  • Willingness to undertake international business travel for recruiting and networking
