Job Summary

This role is for an experienced Cisco Network Technician to join an IT Services and Solutions provider in Nuremberg, focusing on Managed Services, IT Infrastructure, and System Integration. Day-to-day responsibilities include configuring and maintaining network management systems, administering Cisco routing and switching infrastructure, implementing copper and fiber-based access technology, and resolving incidents via a ticketing system. The technician will also actively participate in network projects. Key qualifications include a completed IT vocational qualification (such as IT Specialist for System Integration) and proven experience with Cisco networking and TCP/IP. The position requires willingness to work within a shift model (5-day week, 6:00 AM – 6:00 PM) and offers a permanent contract with predictable working hours and a flextime account.
