Job Summary
This role involves providing critical 2nd Level support, focusing on the administration, maintenance, and optimization of complex Windows and/or Linux server environments. The specialist will be responsible for analyzing, resolving, and documenting technical disruptions across the entire IT infrastructure, including servers and network systems. Key daily tasks include collaborating closely with 1st and 3rd level support teams, implementing security policies, performing performance monitoring using tools like SolarWinds or Checkmk, and participating in strategic IT development projects such as system rollouts and migrations. Candidates must possess current expertise in Windows/Linux operating systems, network infrastructure, and collaboration solutions like Office365 and MS Teams. The position requires a commitment to continuous learning, strong communication skills, and excellent fluency in German (C1 level) to ensure smooth operation within a modern, technology-driven environment utilizing virtualization (VMware, Hyper-V) and automation tools (Ansible, Chef).
