Job Summary

This Senior Business Development Manager role focuses on driving new business growth for drug discovery and early development services within the crucial US market. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing territory and account plans, consistently traveling to US-based clients and conferences, and delivering against agreed sales targets. Day-to-day tasks include expanding the potential client network, creating compelling, tailor-made proposals in collaboration with scientific teams, and organizing promotional events like roadshows. Key qualifications include a degree in life sciences (Biochemistry, Biology, Chemistry, or equivalent) and a minimum of five years of business development experience, ideally possessing a "hunter" mentality. A deep understanding of the drug discovery process and the broader pharma/biotech industry is mandatory, alongside fluent English communication skills.
