Job Summary

This role seeks a proactive Field Service Technician based in Straubing to manage the IT infrastructure for a successful chain of retail stores across the greater Straubing area. The core responsibilities involve providing essential on-site service and support for critical retail systems, including POS (Point of Sale) systems, client workstations, and server hardware. Day-to-day tasks include the installation, maintenance, and repair of server hardware, configuring desktop PCs and mobile devices, setting up printer systems, and administering active network components. You will also coordinate technical preparations for new store openings and handle technical customer inquiries. The ideal candidate must possess a qualification as an IT Specialist or Network Technician, coupled with at least two years of experience supporting POS, client, and server systems.
