Job Summary

This 2-year fixed-term role at Roche Diagnostics in Penzberg is crucial for bridging innovative research (R&D) and life-changing production within the Manufacturing Science and Technology (MSAT) organization. The Specialist will focus on Design Transfer and Process Optimization, ensuring the successful scaling and establishment of new products. Day-to-day tasks include defining process architecture, conducting technical batches, and finalizing the handover of new production processes. A key responsibility involves establishing and optimizing synthesis and purification methods, such as HPLC, and improving existing methodologies to meet technical and economic requirements, always keeping scale-up in mind. The ideal candidate possesses a background in organic chemistry and hands-on experience in preparative chemistry or blending/filling technologies, coupled with knowledge of GxP, FDA, and ISO regulations.
