Job Summary

As an Associate in the Pharma Technical Development Analytics Characterization department, you will play a vital role in advancing the next generation of biopharmaceuticals. Your daily responsibilities include the independent preparation, execution, and evaluation of mass spectrometric and chromatographic analysis methods for therapeutic proteins. You will develop and optimize new LC-MS/MS methods for protein characterization and validate these techniques in alignment with leadership. Beyond bench work, you will be responsible for the maintenance and qualification of modern analytical equipment and the precise documentation of results in compliance with GEP and GMP standards. This role is highly collaborative, requiring you to present data in internal and cross-functional project meetings. This position offers a unique opportunity to work at the forefront of bioprocess development within a world-leading healthcare company, contributing directly to the release analytics of recombinant protein drugs. The role is offered on a fixed-term basis for two years.

Required Skills

Education

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemistry, Biology, Biotechnology, or a comparable field of study.

Experience

  • Several years of relevant professional experience in a protein analytical laboratory within a biopharmaceutical environment
  • Practical experience in the development and validation of mass spectrometric methods
  • Professional experience working under strict GMP conditions
  • Experience in the maintenance and qualification of analytical instrumentation
  • Proven experience in documenting and presenting scientific results to international project teams
