Job Summary

In this role within the R&D department of Process Technologies and Material Science at Roche, you will join a specialized team of 5–6 professionals developing chemical raw materials for the global diagnostic product portfolio. Your day-to-day work involves the independent planning and execution of organic-preparative syntheses, specifically focusing on polymers and their precursors. You will be responsible for the isolation, purification, and characterization of reagents using advanced analytical methods such as GPC, NMR, and UV. A significant part of the role includes process optimization and scaling established syntheses for production transfer.
