Job Summary

This role involves strategic work within the German Federal Office for Information Security (BSI), focusing on enhancing cybersecurity within the civil aviation sector's secure supply chain. The Consultant will be responsible for developing concepts for supervising regulated companies and authorities, advancing legal requirements related to aviation cybersecurity, and creating recommendations (including documentation in English) to strengthen security measures for supply chain participants. This position requires a strong technical or IT background, excellent strategic thinking, and the ability to communicate complex concepts clearly, both orally and in writing, in German and English. It offers an opportunity to contribute directly to Germany's secure digital future in a critical infrastructure domain.

Required Skills

Education

University Diploma (Diplom Uni)/Master's degree in Computer Science, Technical Informatics, IT Security, Physics, Mathematics, Communications or Electrical Engineering, IT Management, Administrative or Business Informatics, Transportation Sciences, or a comparable technical field with an IT focus.

Experience

  • Professional experience in IT or IT security is desirable
  • Experience in developing and advancing legal and regulatory requirements
  • Experience in presenting at conferences and events
