Job Summary

This role is for a Grid Connection and Energy Economics Specialist working for a reputable distribution grid operator. The specialist will be responsible for developing customized technical and economic solutions for diverse grid connections, including large-scale projects such as wind farms, industrial facilities, and charging infrastructure. Key daily tasks involve creating detailed concepts for grid connection and metering systems, managing the full lifecycle of complex grid connection and usage contracts, and actively addressing critical energy economics topics like Redispatch 2.0, feed-in tariffs, and gas provision. The ideal candidate holds a university degree or equivalent qualification and possesses professional experience working with energy economics systems and regulatory frameworks. The position offers an attractive compensation package, a 38-hour work week, 30 days of annual leave, and significant flexibility with up to three days of remote work per week after successful onboarding, making it an excellent opportunity for career development in the energy sector.
