Job Summary

This role is for an Energy Projects Engineer working for a renowned distribution grid operator, focusing on the integration of new energy sources and infrastructure. Day-to-day responsibilities include developing customized solutions for complex network connections, such as those required for wind farms, large-scale charging infrastructure, and industrial facilities. You will be responsible for creating technical concepts for both grid connections and associated metering systems, while actively managing the entire process of grid connection and usage contracts. A critical component of the job involves analyzing and implementing energy industry regulatory topics, including Redispatch 2.0 and feed-in compensation schemes. The ideal candidate holds a university degree or equivalent qualification and brings professional knowledge of grid operations and energy economic regulations.
