Job Summary

The City of Münster is seeking an IT Governance Project Assistant to support the digital transformation efforts within the municipal administration. This role involves coordinating and managing project tasks, ensuring effective communication among stakeholders, and maintaining project documentation, including plans, milestones, and resource schedules. The assistant will be crucial in preparing data, reports, presentations, and decision-making documents for project leadership, as well as organizing and following up on meetings and workshops. Ideal candidates will possess strategic thinking, strong organizational skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Office programs, coupled with a relevant administrative qualification or a university degree in areas like Project Management, Business Administration, or Innovation Management. This is a vital position contributing to the coordinated, strategic, and impact-oriented development of the city's IT infrastructure.

Required Skills

Education

Qualification for the general administrative service (Career Group 2, 1st entry level) or completion of Administrative Course II; Alternatively, a university degree (min. Bachelor/Dipl. FH) in Transformation and/or Innovation Management, Business Administration (preferably with a focus on Project Management), or another relevant field of study.

Experience

  • Experience in supporting project management and coordination
  • Ability to quickly grasp complex and abstract facts and communicate them appropriately
