This role involves managing and coordinating underground construction projects within complex university building initiatives across North Rhine-Westphalia (NRW). The Civil Engineer will be responsible for steering, planning, and overseeing all civil engineering aspects in interdisciplinary teams for new construction, renovation, and infrastructure measures, focusing heavily on university facilities like the University of Münster. Key tasks include budget, schedule, and cost planning, contractor selection and management, and handling contract and claims management. Candidates should possess a degree in Civil Engineering (Underground Construction focus) and professional experience in executing complex civil engineering projects. Required Skills

Education

Degree (Diploma/Bachelor/Master) in Civil Engineering (Underground Construction) or a comparable field

Experience

  • Professional experience in planning and execution of complex underground construction projects (Advantageous)
  • Knowledge of the service phases 1 to 9 of the Official Scale of Fees for Services by Architects and Engineers (HOAI)
  • Knowledge of procurement and contract law (VgV, VOB) and relevant legal regulations (WHG, BBodSchG)
