Job Summary
The City of Münster is seeking an IT Specialist Coordinator for OPEN/PROSOZ to join the Job Center's IT team. This role is crucial for supporting the central OPEN/PROSOZ application, which manages benefits under SGB II for approximately 20,000 people. The successful candidate will be responsible for administering and maintaining the system, providing second-level support to users, creating user-friendly documentation, and ensuring data quality. You will also play a key role in the ongoing development and digitalization of IT-supported processes, including testing new procedures and conducting user training. Required Skills
Education
Completed degree with an IT focus (e.g., Computer Science, Business Informatics, Administrative Informatics, Business Administration) OR Bachelor Professional in IT (formerly Operative Professional) (IHK) OR IT vocational training (e.g., IT Specialist, IT Systems Management Assistant) OR Qualification for general administrative service (Laufbahngruppe 2, 1. Einstiegsamt) OR Completed Administrative Course II.
Experience
- Professional experience in IT or digitalization area (minimum one year if holding specific administrative qualifications)
- Minimum three years of professional experience (if holding Bachelor Professional in IT or IT vocational training)

Additional
- Must be able to meet qualifications by September 30, 2025. For civil servants, transfer is only possible outside of the probationary period. This is a temporary position until September 6, 2026, with part-time hours (19.5 or 20.5 hours/week).
