Join the Max Rubner Institute in Detmold as a Technical Assistant, contributing to cutting-edge research in food authenticity within the National Reference Center for Authentic Food (NRZ-Authent). This role focuses heavily on spectroscopic and chromatographic analysis, including preparing samples for and executing analyses using techniques like FT-NIR, FT-IR, HPLC, and GC. You will be responsible for meticulous sample management, documentation, and data security. Day-to-day tasks involve technical support for spectroscopic equipment, conducting wet chemical procedures, and assisting with software-supported data evaluation. The ideal candidate possesses a completed vocational qualification in chemistry or a comparable field, strong analytical skills, and proficiency in German, with a high degree of motivation, teamwork, and independent work ethic.
