Job Summary

The Structural Engineering Office of Wiesbaden is seeking a dedicated Engineer or Specialist to manage Technical Building Equipment (TBE), focusing primarily on Heating, Ventilation, and Sanitation (HLS) technology and technical fire protection within public properties. In this role, you will actively contribute to modern Facility Management, overseeing the organization of maintenance and repair work, commissioning external specialized firms, and ensuring compliance through expert inspections, particularly hygiene inspections on ventilation systems according to VDI 6022. Key responsibilities include handling disruption reports for an assigned property portfolio, coordinating external service providers, and acting as the technical HLS contact for construction projects (new builds and existing structures) in collaboration with project management and external engineering offices following HOAI guidelines. The ideal candidate holds an engineering degree or equivalent technical certification, possesses strong organizational and communication skills, and is committed to shaping the technical future of sustainable, energy-efficient municipal buildings. Experience in relevant TBE tasks and knowledge of procurement law are advantageous.
