Job Summary
As a Master Electrician for the City of Wiesbaden's Building Construction Office, you will lead the electrical engineering workgroup in a technical, personnel, and organizational capacity. Your day-to-day responsibilities involve planning, controlling, and supervising workflows for the installation, commissioning, and maintenance of electrical systems across various municipal properties, ranging from daycare centers to cultural facilities. You will act as a key liaison for external contractors, ensuring that all third-party services meet quality standards and that the city remains compliant with all operator obligations. This role is ideal for a leadership-oriented professional who enjoys a mix of technical oversight and commercial tasks, such as cost estimation and supplier coordination. Required Skills
Education
Completed Master Craftsman certification (Meister) in Electrical Engineering and a minimum three-year vocational training (BBiG), preferably as an Electronics Technician for Energy and Building Technology.
Experience
- Professional experience relevant to the management and maintenance of electrical systems
- Experience in personnel leadership is preferred
- Proven leadership competence and team-oriented management
- Experience in planning and controlling technical workflows including installation and commissioning
Languages
Additional
- Valid Class B driver's license (or equivalent) is required. Must be willing to participate in on-call shifts and occasional work outside of regular business hours.
