Job Summary

The Leibniz Institute for Analytical Sciences (ISAS) is seeking a Doctoral Researcher (65% part-time, 3-year contract) for the Proteomics working group in Dortmund. This role focuses on planning and executing proteome and phosphoproteome analyses within a DFG-funded project aimed at identifying and characterizing interferon gamma-stimulated effector proteins and host factors that limit Cytomegalovirus replication. The successful candidate will be responsible for continuously developing existing bioanalytical methods, meticulous laboratory documentation, and collaborating with project partners, including regular presentation of research results. This position is ideal for a candidate with a natural science background (e.g., Biology, Chemistry, Physics) and prior lab experience, offering a clear research topic, comprehensive doctoral training in an international environment, and access to state-of-the-art analytical infrastructure, supporting the institute's mission to advance personalized medicine.
