Job Summary

The Leibniz Institute for Analytical Sciences (ISAS) is seeking a highly motivated Doctoral Researcher specializing in Computer Vision and Machine Learning to join the Analysis of Microscopic BIOMedical Images (AMBIOM) group in Dortmund. This role is crucial for the DFG-funded ComplexEye project, focusing on high-throughput single-cell analysis of fast-moving cells using array microscopy. Day-to-day responsibilities include developing novel Machine Learning algorithms for 2D time-lapse microscopy image data, integrating large Foundation Models into analytical workflows, and implementing AI-based software solutions, primarily using Python and PyTorch. Candidates must hold a Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related technical field, possess comprehensive experience in Computer Vision and Deep Learning, and be fluent in English.
