Job Summary

This role is for an experienced Datacenter Engineer/Technician in Frankfurt am Main, working with a leading IT service provider specializing in technology and datacenter engineering. The core responsibilities involve hands-on hardware maintenance, including repairing and troubleshooting Storage and Server systems, and coordinating hardware fixes with manufacturers. The successful candidate will also be responsible for developing solution concepts, performing configurations, managing incidents via ticketing systems, and executing structured cabling, rack layout management, and planning/executing server and datacenter relocations. Key requirements include solid knowledge of Server and Storage hardware (IBM, Sun, Dell, HP, Cisco) and practical experience diagnosing and resolving network and server issues.
