Day-to-day responsibilities include creating and updating execution plans to ensure the quality and availability of traffic engineering services and systems, analyzing performance statistics, and managing system monitoring and fault handling. The technician will coordinate maintenance, repair, and inspection activities, manage spare parts logistics, and handle procurement processes (tendering, awarding, acceptance) for new systems and equipment. Key requirements include a recognized qualification as a Certified Technician in Electrical Engineering (ICT focus) and practical experience in maintenance, spare parts management, network technology, and measurement techniques. The position is permanent, based in Koblenz, and requires a high degree of initiative, strong communication skills, and willingness to travel for assignments.

Experience

  • Professional experience as a Technician
  • Practical experience in maintenance and spare parts management of transmission systems
  • Practical knowledge in network technology, including configuration
  • Practical experience in measurement technology and fault handling in transmission and network technology
  • Knowledge in planning and building transmission systems
