This role seeks a dedicated Test Operations Technician to join the Institute for Vehicle System Technology at the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT), focusing on the operation and maintenance of advanced tire and vehicle test benches. The daily responsibilities involve the end-to-end management of testing campaigns, including planning, setting up specialized measurement systems, procuring necessary components, and executing various experiments. A critical component of the role is data management, requiring skills in measurement data acquisition (ideally LabView) and automated data analysis using tools like Matlab, VBA, or Python. Candidates must hold a qualification as a state-certified Technician in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or Electronics.
