This role involves providing essential support for specialized procedures and managing the central Document Management System (DMS) within the IT department of the Rhein-Neckar-Kreis District Office in Heidelberg. Day-to-day responsibilities include overseeing various specialized software products and interfaces, managing the entire software lifecycle from selection and procurement to commissioning, and providing direct support to end-users. The ideal candidate will possess a degree in Computer Science or a related field, or have a relevant IT apprenticeship combined with several years of professional experience. Key requirements include deep expertise in Windows Client/Server operating systems, general IT, and document management systems, alongside strong organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills. Required Skills

Education

University degree (Bachelor/Diploma) in Computer Science or equivalent field, or certified training as an IT Specialist or IT System Electronics Specialist

Experience

  • Professional experience in IT, software, and document management systems
  • Several years of professional experience required if holding an IT apprenticeship (e.g., IT Specialist or IT System Electronics Specialist)
