Job Summary

This role involves working within the IT department of the Rhein-Neckar-Kreis District Office, which provides a modern, innovative IT environment, including a data center and fiber-optic WAN, to the district office and its subsidiaries. The IT Dispatcher is crucial for maintaining efficient IT service management, primarily focusing on the prioritization, categorization, and quality assurance of IT incident reports, service requests, and orders via the central ticketing system. Day-to-day tasks include ensuring complete and understandable documentation in tickets, efficiently assigning them to the appropriate support levels (First, Second, or Third-Level Support), and upholding ITIL-based processes (Incident, Problem, Change, etc.). The ideal candidate must possess a strong background in IT service management, complex IT processes, and organizational structures, and will contribute to process optimization through service metric analysis and management reporting. This full-time, permanent position offers a salary based on pay grade 10 TVöD.
