As an IT Service Technician for the Rhein-Neckar-Kreis district administration, you will play a vital role in maintaining a modern and innovative IT infrastructure. Your day-to-day responsibilities involve the installation, configuration, and maintenance of various IT endpoints including PCs, notebooks, printers, and media systems. You will manage user profiles, handle software settings, and utilize the Baramundi software distribution tool. A significant portion of the role focuses on resolving technical issues via the OTRS ticket system through remote support, telephone, or on-site visits in a First and Second Level Support capacity. Required Skills

Education

Completed vocational training as an IT Specialist for Systems Integration (Fachinformatiker) or IT Systems Electronics Technician (IT-Systemelektroniker).

Experience

  • Professional experience in IT support and service desk operations
  • Experience in the installation and configuration of IT hardware and peripherals
  • Practical knowledge of Microsoft client environments and networking
  • Experience working with software distribution solutions and ticketing systems

Languages

German (Basic)

Additional

  • Valid Class B driver's license is required. DGUV V3 certification is required (or the willingness to acquire it promptly). Must be able to participate in IT hotline duties and on-site service visits.
