This role as a Specialist in Document Management and System Administration, based in Heidelberg, is a crucial, full-time, fixed-term position within the IT division of the Rhein-Neckar-Kreis district administration. You will be instrumental in advancing digitalization by managing and supporting specialized software products, interfaces, and the central Document Management System (DMS). Day-to-day responsibilities include the full software lifecycle, from selection and procurement to commissioning, alongside providing comprehensive user support. Candidates must possess a university degree in Computer Science or equivalent, or vocational training as an IT Specialist coupled with several years of relevant professional experience. Deep technical knowledge of Windows Client/Server operating systems, DMS environments, and MS Office is essential, complemented by strong problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills to thrive in this modern public sector IT environment.
