Job Summary
This role involves supporting the Deputy Head of the Transportation Infrastructure Department in a major city administration in the Ruhr area, focusing on maintaining, renewing, and improving urban infrastructure, particularly complex light rail and civil engineering structures. The Advisor acts as a staff officer, proactively assisting the department head with complex daily operations, strategic planning, and conceptual projects. Key responsibilities include independently managing special engineering issues and high-profile projects, conducting targeted data analysis to derive strategic measures, and preparing high-level committee meetings. Candidates must possess a university degree (Master's or equivalent) in Civil Engineering, Transportation Engineering, or Spatial Planning, coupled with extensive professional experience in deep and civil engineering or transportation.
