Job Summary

This role is for an IT Application Manager/Specialist focusing on the Hospital Information System (HIS) Orbis at University Medicine Frankfurt. The successful candidate will be responsible for the full lifecycle management of central business and medical software, including selection, installation, configuration, training, user administration, maintenance, development, migration, and decommissioning. Day-to-day tasks involve designing and implementing innovative software applications, ensuring operational stability of the HIS environment, customizing forms, managing modules and interfaces (including telemedicine infrastructure), analyzing business processes, and providing IT support and training to key users. The position also involves troubleshooting complex issues, participating in digital transformation projects, and coordinating project activities.
