Job Summary

This role involves hands-on technical responsibility for grid protection devices within substation operations and project environments. Key daily tasks include the inspection, maintenance, and troubleshooting of grid protection equipment, as well as managing commissioning and quality assurance processes for new installations. The technician will also conduct technical acceptance tests at manufacturer sites and actively participate in fault analysis and clarification. The ideal candidate holds a Master Craftsman or Technician qualification in Electrical Engineering, preferably possesses initial experience in energy supply, and is proficient with operating software like DIGSI 4/5. This position is attractive as it serves as the central technical contact point for all protection technology issues within assigned substations, requiring a blend of technical expertise, independent work, and strong team collaboration.

Required Skills

Education

Master Craftsman certification or Technician degree in Electrical Engineering, or comparable practical qualification

Experience
