Job Summary

This role involves strategic and operational external communication, focusing heavily on press relations and specialized topic management, particularly around industrial transformation, energy, and climate protection. The Communication Officer will be responsible for identifying relevant topics, developing cohesive communication strategies and messages, and actively placing stories in the media. Day-to-day tasks include drafting press releases, articles, and newsletter content, managing press inquiries, organizing media appointments, and maintaining a robust network of journalists. Key qualifications include a relevant university degree (e.g., Journalism or Communication Science), several years of professional experience in press and public relations, strong textual competence, and familiarity with the media landscape and media law. Experience in climate protection and energy topics is highly desirable.
