Job Summary

This role is for an experienced Senior System Engineer specializing in Citrix and VDI environments, contributing to the secure and efficient IT services for the German Armed Forces (Bundeswehr). The primary focus involves ensuring the stable operation and continuous development of the central Citrix Virtual Apps & Desktops platform. Day-to-day responsibilities include planning, administration, and advanced troubleshooting (2nd and 3rd level) of the VDI environment, managing PVS Master Images, and developing FSLogix, profile, and policy concepts. The ideal candidate will have at least five years of professional experience in complex Citrix/VDI setups, strong scripting skills (especially PowerShell), and expertise in IT service security lifecycle management. This position offers the chance to work on challenging digitalization projects across locations like Bonn, Munich, or Nuremberg, supporting Germany's security infrastructure.
