Job Summary
This role offers student assistants the opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge basic research in plant architecture, specifically focusing on cereal inflorescence development and its impact on yield. Day-to-day tasks involve hands-on work with plant materials, including harvesting individual spikes and assisting with larger row and plot harvests. The successful candidate will also support data collection in both field and greenhouse trials and be involved in post-harvest processing. - Foreign qualifications must undergo a fee-based equivalence test in Germany, which must be presented if hired. The position is temporary, from August 15, 2025, to September 30, 2025. This is a part-time role, 60 hours per month.
