Job Summary

This permanent position, located in Cuxhaven, requires an experienced IT professional to manage and maintain the core infrastructure for the Federal Waterways and Shipping Administration (WSA Elbe-Nordsee). Key responsibilities include the installation, operation, and adaptation of workplace hardware and operating systems within a Microsoft environment, managing central IT resources and services, and providing essential technical support to end-users. A critical component of the role is the active implementation and enforcement of IT security measures. Candidates must hold a completed qualification as an IT Specialist for System Integration or a comparable degree. Success in this role is supported by strong knowledge of Microsoft products (Windows Server 2019, Windows 10, MS Office 2016), Client Management using SCCM, network technology, and VM Ware virtualization.
