Job Summary

This full-time, fixed-term position, running until October 31, 2027, requires a certified Electronics Technician to join the Preventive Maintenance (PU) team supporting the Northern Ship Lift in Niederfinow. The primary focus is ensuring the continuous operation and reliability of complex mechanical and electrical systems within the Waterways and Shipping Authority. Day-to-day tasks involve high-level troubleshooting, fault diagnosis, configuration, and parameter setting on plant and machine technology. A key responsibility includes reading and programming PLC controls, interpreting complicated circuit diagrams, and planning maintenance activities, preferably utilizing the SAP PM module. Candidates must possess completed vocational training as an Electronics Technician, professional experience as a qualified electrical person, a Class B driver's license, and a Bronze swimming certificate. The role requires flexibility, including mandatory shift work, weekend duty, and participation in an on-call rotation, offering a crucial role in maintaining vital infrastructure during its warranty phase.

Completed vocational training as an Electronics Technician or equivalent related profession.

Experience

  • Professional experience as a qualified electrical person (Elektrofachkraft)
  • Experience in troubleshooting and repair of complex electrical and mechanical systems
  • Experience in planning and preparing maintenance work, preferably using SAP PM (desirable)
